Pura Vida interconnect cables
The Pura Vidas are definitely very impressive! I’ve never heard such clean signal transfer. Very smooth and more analogue sounding than any cable I’ve heard and most importantly, very musical! Revealing without being harsh the music seems effortless in its delivery. Very black background with very smooth and open midrange. Great soundstaging and incredible on female vocals with very deep layering of each singer and instrument. Has taken my digital source and really given it a more relaxed and natural presentation.

Wow Steve, these truly are great cables and do very wonderful things to the signal. Or perhaps I should say “they do NOTHING to the signal”. Just lets it pass through unadulterated but certainly with nothing bad. They are an improvement most definitely over the [a well known high-end cable]. More open, more relaxed, more natural, and deeper soundstaging with accurate placement of instruments, room acoustics, timbre, etc. All the good stuff one demands from high end audio and with such beautiful sonic clarity! For such a humble looking cable they really perform impressively!

I have some well known silver/copper interconnects so I was not expecting much more from different interconnects. From the first few notes your Pura Vidas made everything better across the entire spectrum, this was totally unexpected. I heard instruments I have never noticed before and the soundstage opened up while being fuller and deeper. Overall the sound is more dynamic, fluid, richer and detailed with an analogue like quality. There is less glare and noise and the treble is quieter and symbols sound more real with space around them. The voices are more present and realistic too. I like bass and they made it tighter and more powerful with better definition and control. More involving and musically addictive I can’t find the words to explain some of the changes. Everyone in the room was floored by the overall transformation. Using one pair made an unexpectedly large difference, using three pairs totally transformed my system.

I really didn’t think I would be able to hear a difference as easily as I did. The more I listened I realized I was hearing more, instruments in songs had more space around them. I ended up listening for 6 hrs on Saturday alone and keep looking forward to the next time, they had me reaching for discs that I had bought recently, listened to, and put in the section of discs that probably won’t get much play.The cables just made everything I have sound better.

The Pura Vidas were to my ears a very different sounding animal. When I hooked them up I was blown away sonically. The words that come to me are: open, natural, lush. They are like silver IC's without the brightness.

They helped the Thiels convey a high level of resolution without being irritating as if they lowered the distortion level a bit. I could say that I had the impression that I was listening to the real thing and not to a recording of the real thing. They seemed to convey a sense of correctness to the sound. They just sound right.

Pura Vida subwoofer cable
Right out of the box your sub cable tightend up my subwoofer and gave it more speed and impact. The bass is definatley plumbing lower depths and the upper bass boominess is almost completely gone, The midrange is more open now with the boominess out of the way and much more detail is revealed. Movies or music my system is much more believable and captivating.
